The Local Planet was published by The FACTORY, formerly The Print Factory. The FACTORY is probably Ireland’s leading eco-print and graphic design studio. Founded by Brendan & Gina Dooley in 2000, it has been on an eco-path from the beginning. Its mission is: ‘to be an inspirational, ethical business that helps protect our planet & our community’.
To see who edited and contributed to the early editions, you might like to check out the Archive section. In fact, those early editions contain a wealth of information from people passionate about creating a great future. Much of that content is as relevant today as when those words were first written over fifteen years ago.
